2026 Rideau Canal lock season: Parks Canada lockstations are scheduled to operate from May 15 to October 12, 2026. Typical hours are:
- May 15 – June 18: Mon–Thu 10:00–16:00; Fri–Sun (and Victoria Day) 9:00–19:00
- June 19 – Sept 7: Mon–Thu 9:00–18:00; Fri–Sun (and holiday dates) 9:00–19:00
- Sept 8 – Oct 12: Mon–Fri 10:00–16:00; Sat–Sun (and Thanksgiving) 9:00–17:00
Note: Parks Canada has also announced free lockage from June 19 to September 7, 2026 (where applicable).
